Peak Wellness Center writes grants to provide monetary support for some of our mental health and substance abuse programming.  Writing for grants is a very competitive process requiring a team approach with staff from clinical, medical, finance, management information, and operations working together to ensure a cohesive argument is presented to the potential funder.

We have received grant funding from several sources for many years.  For example, the United Ways of Laramie and Albany Counties have provided partial funding for our emergency mental health crisis lines in these counties.  We have also received funding for Quality of Life expenses from county organizations.

Recently, we secured funding from the State to provide gatekeeping services.  This allows Peak to offer comprehensive services to individuals who have been or may become involved in Title 25 situations.  We have also received State funding to implement an Opioid Response program, which focuses on providing more opportunities for treatment, and working with primary and specialty care providers to build community awareness of the opioid crisis

We continue to research grant opportunities and write for funding that reflects the needs of our communities and our mission, as well as funding that helps us expand or use new behavioral health and substance abuse treatments.
