Peak Wellness Center improves pricing to better serve southeast Wyoming

Cheyenne, Wyoming - July 20, 2018 - Starting this month, Peak Wellness Center has updated its service prices to better reflect their commitment to their communities.

“It’s an honor to be in a position to help improve the lives of so many people in our community,” said Karl Cline, Peak Wellness Center’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our decision to lower pricing came largely in part from listening to what our clients needed, and then taking action accordingly.”

A few years ago, in response to the current healthcare climate, Peak Wellness Center raised their service prices. However, given changes to legislation since then, Cline said his team recently began to hear increasingly concerned feedback from Peak clients.

“We want to ensure our prices aren’t a deterrent in whether people can receive our services or not,” Cline said. “We don’t want to stand in the way of truly being an accessible source for our community, and something needed to change.”

Though the pricing structure has been modified, Cline said the quality of service and staff remains at the same exceptional level clients have come to trust and accept.

“We want our clients to know that we listened to what they had to say, and lowering prices is our way of taking that feedback and making it actionable.”

More than 41 million American adult shave some sort of mental illness and nearly 20 million have an addiction, according to the Substance abuse and Mental health Services Administration. Costs to treating chronic medical conditions accompanied with mental illnesses and addiction can be two to three times higher.

By both expanding the use of evidence based practices to coordinate care and better integrate medical and behavioral health care, providers can treat illnesses and addictions — as well as chronic mental conditions.

Those savings can be used to expand behavioral health services and try to permanently fund expanded integration of primary and behavioral health services.

Peak Wellness is boldly dedicated to strengthening the community through wellness, and empowering themselves and others toward excellence. Their highly qualified team of mental health counselors, addiction counselors, and depression counselors provides the broadest range of mental health care and substance abuse treatments available in southeastern Wyoming.
