Peak Wellness Center is excited to announce the promotion of Christin Covello, Ph.D., LPC, to Clinic Director of Peak’s Albany County clinic. She officially begins her position on Monday, April 20.

Dr. Covello brings extensive experience, education and expertise to her new role as Clinic Director, having earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Wyoming in 2012. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and is certified in EAGALA equine-assisted therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TR-CBT), and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr. Covello was formerly positioned in Laramie County, first as Adult Outpatient Team Lead and then as Adult Outpatient Team Supervisor. She has been with Peak Wellness Center since September 2018. As an adjunct professor of the University of Wyoming (current), Chadron State College (current), University of Northern Colorado (current), Eastern Wyoming College and Regis University over the years, Dr. Covello also plays an important role in educating the future health care workers of our nation.

Dr. Covello is eagerly looking forward to her new leadership role, and her goals include strengthening community relations and expanding services within Albany County.
